| Dil Raju says 3 rascals Is Postponed Posted: 19 Dec 2011 06:07 AM PST  Ace producer-distributor Dil Raju has decided todefer the release of 3 Rascals by 12 days. The film, which was set torelease on Jan. 14, has been postponed till Jan. 26. Shortage oftheaters or certain commercial compulsions seem to have compelled theproducers to procrastinate the release. The Tamil version, Nanban, is releasing as per theschedule, though. This might be one of the least-awaited Shankarfilms, but the film holds a great market potential since it is acollege campus story with clean humour and compelling messageinterspersed into the story. It stars Vijay, Jiiva and Sriram in theleads. Illeana is paired opposite Vijay. If it was released on Jan. 14, it will have toslugfest with The Businessman, Bodyguard and Poola Rangadu. Now thatit is releasing on Jan. 26, it will compete with Adhinayakudu and Nippu. The official remake of 3 Rascals stands good chancesof attracting the college audience, never mind the fact that 3 Idiotsis still fresh in the minds.  |
