With Gautham Menon’s Yohan : Adhyayam Ondru expected to take off in mid 2012 here comes a bonanza for all Ilayathalapathy Vijay fans. Our trusted sources have revealed that Vijay’s upcoming flick with A.R. Murugadoss soon kick starts this October. The Ghajini director comes packed up with a hefty – 65 crore budget for his new Vijay starrer titled Maalai Neram Mazhaithuli.
Even though Sonam Kapoor was almost booked for this latest Vijay- Murugadoss project there has been news of Rana heroine Deepika Padukone stepping in for the front role. The movie will have expert cinematographer Nirav Shah handling the lens department and Harris Jayaraj running his musical fingers for this big budget offering. Mumbai based Fox Star Studios have been keen to cash in on the project as there have been talks going on with Vijay’s dad SA Chandrashekaran for the same. Both A.R. Murugadoss and Vijay are currently engaged with some big projects with the former awaiting his 7aam Arivu release with star actor Suriya and the latter working it out with director Shankar’s Nanban.
