When asked about hisentry into active politics, Vijay told reporters in Madurai onWednesday that he would address the question in another pressconference. The actor might not have made a direct statement to answerthe query, but neither did he deny his entry into politics - a factthat enthused his fans. Vijay later said hewill be doing a film centering on the theme of differently-abled likethat of actor Vikram in 'Deivathirumagal'. He said he had been planningsuch a role for some time and would do it shortly. He made it apoint to spend some time with special children from a private schoolwho were brought to the hotel to meet him. Earlier in the day, hevisited a local theatre where a movie was screened and spent some timewith his fans. He commented on his movie, Nanban, that was a commercialhit, terming the title apt. "Friendship is a special relationship inspite of other family ties like father, mother, brothers and sisters. Agood friend is indeed a great relationship where we can confide allsecrets," he said. He repeated his dialogue from the movie where heinsists on sticking to the profession one likes and putting heart andsoul in it to come up in life. "Take up the profession you likemost and work hard to come up in life. My parents wanted me to be adoctor but I preferred to become a movie star," he said.  |
